Your locksmith enquiry in Formentera del Segura
We cover Formentera del Segura 24 hours a day from our premises in Torrevieja. This page explains how to identify your cylinder with a few photos to get a price for a replacement, without taking anything apart.
Identifying the cylinder before a replacement
To plan a cylinder replacement, what you can see from outside is enough: the outer face of the cylinder, where the brand is usually engraved, and the edge of the open door, where you can see the cylinder and its fixing screw. Don’t remove that screw or take the cylinder out: we take the exact measurement ourselves before fitting the new one.
Details to help us place your enquiry
By phone or WhatsApp, never in public: the address, the photos of the cylinder from outside and of the door edge, and how many keys you need.

- Whether the door has an escutcheon around the cylinder.
- How many keys you want to have once it’s replaced.
- Whether the current cylinder still works or the key is already failing.

A new cylinder locks out anyone with the old keys. So, if the photos are sent by someone who doesn’t use that door, their right of access may need to be checked before the cylinder is fitted. We’ll tell you what’s needed when you write to us.
